Dan Stevens makes his Broadway debut in October, starring in a revival of
The Heiress with
The Help's Jessica Chastain. The play is based on the Henry James novel,
Washington Square.
He will play Morris Townsend, who courts Jessica Chastain's character Catherine Sloper. She has an overbearing father who questions Townsend's motives.
Dan also has two movies coming out this year:
Vamps, a vampire comedy, and
Summer in February, a British period drama. Downton Abbey's third season will not be out until September in Britain, and not until 2013 in the U.S.
